Call to Order:
The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 4:00PM on December 10, 2024, in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365. The Presiding officer was Bill Craft, President.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) The Yuma County Airport Authority honored 2nd Vice President Russ Jones who has served the YCAA Board with distinction. Mr. Jones has served the Airport Authority as a Director for nine years. He has displayed a dedication to developing the economic engine that is Yuma International Airport and has enhanced the life of every member of our community. Mr. Jones is worthy of our praise and thanks. Being a Director of the Airport Authority is a volunteer job and requires countless hours of business and regulatory research, an ability to navigate through innumerable bureaucratic and financial minefields, and a personal investment of time, emotion and caring about the well-being of the Citizens of Yuma County and the surrounding region. The Airport Authority is deeply grateful for his contributions and wishes him all the best as he moves forward to future successes.
2) The Yuma County Airport Authority is deeply proud to honor Director Albert Gardner for his
current 8 Years of Service to the YCAA. In addition, he is greatly appreciated for his previous 9 years totaling 17 years on the YCAA Board of Directors. His unwavering commitment to the growth and prosperity of Yuma International Airport has profoundly impacted our community. Director Gardner has demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding the Airport Authority with a steadfast focus on fostering economic development and enhancing the quality of life for all Yuma County residents. His voluntary service is a testament to his dedication, requiring extensive business acumen, regulatory expertise, and a heartfelt commitment to the well-being of our community. Navigating complex bureaucratic and financial challenges, Mr. Gardner has exemplified resilience and vision, leaving a legacy of progress and opportunity. We extend our deepest gratitude for his countless contributions and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Craft, the YCAA President, called for a motion to approve the minutes of the November 12, 2024, Regular Board Meeting. Mr. Jones so moved. Dr. Cullen seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

REGULAR AGENDA
1) Monthly report by Chief Financial Officer on current financial status.
Mr. Hinkle, Chief Financial Officer, briefed the Board on our current financial status. Mr. Hinkle also provided an update on operations by the airport’s Rent Car Agencies, Airport’s Parking Lot and Brewers restaurant.
MILITARY LIAISON
There was no Military Liaison in attendance.
2) Presentation and update regarding current construction projects, associated contracts, grant status, general aviation, marketing efforts, terminal improvements, aviation conferences, meetings, and items of interest with the city and county or other federal or state agencies. This will include, but is not limited to, additional information, FAA and ADOT grant updates, an overview of projects underway, airport operations, Rolle Airfield, airline recruitment and retention efforts, general aviation, future events, and other Airport business.
Ms. Brown, the Airport Director, provided an update on improvements completed since the last meeting including continued painting of bollards, vegetation clean up, parking lot stripping, and addressing a water leak in front of the main terminal. Ms. Brown also discussed American Airlines load capacities, the status of IGSA related projects, marketing and community outreach over the past month to include social media.
During the presentation, there was some discussion related to the format desired for presenting the status of YPG IGSA related projects which will be taken under consideration for future meetings.
